Ticketing Seller Terms
Version 1 · in force since 2026-09-18

- About These Ticketing Seller Terms
These Ticketing Seller Terms (the "Seller Terms") are the agreement between a wrestling promotion (the "Promotion," "you") and WrestleLink for selling tickets to the Promotion's events through WrestleLink. WrestleLink is operated by Rocket Small Business Services, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("Rocket," "we," "us," or "our").
The Seller Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. They are the separate written agreement referred to in the Terms of Use for ticketing. If the Seller Terms conflict with the Terms of Use on a matter specific to ticketing, the Seller Terms control for that matter. The Ticket Terms, which every purchaser accepts, form part of this agreement: you agree to honor them for every ticket sold to your events. Capitalized words not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
Who accepts. The Seller Terms are accepted for the Promotion by a person who manages the Promotion on WrestleLink as an owner or administrator. By accepting, that person confirms that they are authorized to act for the Promotion and to bind it to these Seller Terms. The version accepted, the time, and the account that accepted it are recorded. Tickets to your events can go on sale through WrestleLink only after the version in force has been accepted for the Promotion. When we publish a version that requires acceptance, it must be accepted before your next event goes on sale; events already on sale continue under the version accepted for them unless the new version or applicable law says otherwise.
2. Who May Sell Tickets
To sell tickets through WrestleLink, all of the following must be true:
- the Promotion is listed on WrestleLink, is published, and has been verified;
- a payout account for the Promotion is connected through Stripe and is ready to receive payouts (Section 14);
- the version of the Seller Terms in force has been accepted for the Promotion;
- the event is published on WrestleLink and has not been cancelled; and
- WrestleLink has made native ticketing available to the Promotion.
WrestleLink may make ticketing available to a Promotion, decline to, or withdraw it, under Section 20. Payouts are currently available only to supported U.S. Stripe accounts, and prices are in U.S. dollars.
3. Your Promises
You confirm and promise that, for every event you ticket through WrestleLink:
- you are the organizer of the event and have the authority to hold it, to sell admission to it, and to use the venue on the date and at the times you advertise;
- the event information you publish — the date, times, venue, ticket types, prices, capacity, age and other rules — is accurate and kept accurate, and you update it promptly when it changes;
- the capacity you configure for each ticket type and section does not exceed the admission you can lawfully and safely honor at the venue;
- you hold every licence, permit, insurance, athletic-commission approval and other authorization the law requires to hold the event and to sell admission, and you comply with the laws that apply to it, including laws about admission, ticket sales, safety, age restrictions, taxes and consumer protection;
- you honor every valid ticket sold through WrestleLink, subject only to the refusal grounds in the Ticket Terms; and
- you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority where you are, and any person acting for the Promotion on WrestleLink is authorized to do so.
4. Your Events and Tickets
You configure your events' tickets on WrestleLink within the limits WrestleLink sets: the ticket types and their names, prices, capacity and allocations; when sales start and stop; the refund policy for the event, chosen from the policies WrestleLink offers; whether re-entry is allowed; whether attendee names are collected; and the maximum number of paid tickets per order, which may be lower than WrestleLink's platform maximum but never higher.
What WrestleLink shows purchasers for the event at the time they order — including the ticket types, prices, the refund policy and the event rules — is what you have sold, and the rules saved with each order apply to that order even if you change your configuration later.
You may not sell through WrestleLink admission that you are also selling through another channel in a way that could exceed the capacity you can honor. Tickets sold through WrestleLink and any external ticket link for the same event are exclusive of each other, as WrestleLink's event settings enforce.
5. Inventory and Capacity
WrestleLink's ticketing system will not sell more tickets of a type than the capacity and allocations you have configured for it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the capacity you configure, for any admission you sell or give outside WrestleLink, and for any complimentary admission you issue. If a valid ticket sold through WrestleLink cannot be honored because of an oversale or capacity error within your control, that is treated as an error by the Promotion under the Ticket Terms, and the affected tickets are refunded at your cost under Section 11.
6. Purchasers and the Ticket Terms
Every ticket order is placed under the Ticket Terms. You agree to honor them, including the refund policy you chose for the event, the cancellation and reschedule provisions, the re-entry setting you chose, and the admission provisions.
Complimentary tickets. When you issue a complimentary ticket, you accept the Ticket Terms for that ticket on the recipient's behalf. The recipient is subject to the event and admission terms in the Ticket Terms, and to your rules and the venue's rules, when they accept or use the ticket. Complimentary tickets consume inventory and carry no WrestleLink service fee.
Discounts. Where WrestleLink offers discounts, a discount reduces the ticket price you receive; a ticket discounted to $0 carries no service fee but is not a complimentary ticket.
7. The Door: Your Staff and Admission
Your staff. You decide who may scan tickets and admit ticket holders for each event by granting them access on WrestleLink. You are responsible for everyone you authorize, for what they do with that access, for removing access when it should end, and for every admission decision made at your event, including any decision to admit a person whose code cannot be validated, to undo an admission, or to use an override that WrestleLink makes available to authorized staff.
Admission. Each code admits one person once; the first valid presentation controls. You agree to admit the holder of a valid ticket, subject only to the refusal grounds in the Ticket Terms. Where you refuse admission to the holder of a valid ticket for a reason unrelated to the holder's conduct or the venue's rules, you fund a full refund of that ticket, which WrestleLink makes under Section 11. Where a valid ticket cannot be honored because of an error by you or the event, Section 5 and Section 11 apply.
When scanning is unavailable. If WrestleLink's scanning is unavailable at your event, you must use the reasonable verification procedures WrestleLink makes available at the time, such as looking up an order, and you remain responsible for admission decisions made while scanning is unavailable.
Re-entry. Where you allow re-entry for an event, your staff confirm re-admission at the door. WrestleLink does not scan exits.
8. Door Sales
Where WrestleLink offers door sales and you use them, tickets sold at the door are the same tickets, from the same inventory, under the same ticket types, limits, rules and Ticket Terms as tickets sold online. You record the payment method for each door sale as WrestleLink asks (for example cash, card or another method WrestleLink supports). The WrestleLink service fee applies to every paid ticket sold through WrestleLink at the door in the same way as online. Cash you collect at the door is yours to hold, and Section 10 applies to the fees you owe on it.
9. Money: the Service Fee and Your Proceeds
WrestleLink is paid a service fee. WrestleLink charges the purchaser a service fee for its ticketing service on each paid ticket. The amount of the service fee is set by WrestleLink as a platform rule, may be a fixed amount, a percentage or another supported calculation, and is shown to you when you set up your tickets. WrestleLink may change the service fee on notice to you; a change never applies to a ticket sold before it takes effect. You choose how the service fee is presented to purchasers: added at checkout on top of your ticket price, or included in the price you advertise. In either case the purchaser is shown the total before paying, and every order records the ticket price and the service fee separately. Free tickets, complimentary tickets and tickets with a price of $0 carry no service fee.
Your proceeds. For each paid ticket sold online, your proceeds are the ticket price, before any tax, minus the payment processing fee charged by Stripe for the sale, which you bear and which is calculated on the full amount processed, including any tax and the service fee where it is charged on top. Where the service fee is included in your advertised price, your proceeds are the advertised price minus the service fee and minus the processing fee. If a processing fee is first estimated, your proceeds are adjusted to the actual fee when Stripe reports it. WrestleLink keeps the service fee.
Affiliates and referrals. Any affiliate or referral share WrestleLink pays in connection with your ticket sales is paid from WrestleLink's service fee, never from your proceeds.
Not a surcharge. The service fee is WrestleLink's platform and ticketing service fee. Neither you nor WrestleLink describes it to purchasers as a surcharge for using a card or any other payment method.
10. Cash Sales and Amounts You Owe
When a ticket is sold through WrestleLink at the door and paid in cash or by another method you collect directly, you hold the price, and you owe WrestleLink the service fee on that ticket. WrestleLink offsets the service fees you owe on cash sales against amounts otherwise payable to the Promotion when those amounts are released. Any amount not satisfied by that offset is due from you within 30 days after WrestleLink issues the statement for the event. WrestleLink may offset an unpaid amount against later amounts payable to the Promotion and may suspend the Promotion's ticketing access while an amount remains unpaid. If a cash-sold ticket is refunded because the event is cancelled, you refund the cash you collected to the purchaser yourself, and the service fee you owed on that ticket is forgiven.
11. Refunds and Your Proceeds
Refunds are made by WrestleLink to the purchaser under the Ticket Terms and the refund policy you chose. Each refund is made per ticket, for the full amount paid for that ticket, including any mandatory service fee and tax collected, unless applicable law permits otherwise and the policy shown to the purchaser before purchase specifically provides otherwise. Who bears a refund depends on its cause:
- Cancelled event. When your event is cancelled, for any reason, WrestleLink refunds every paid ticket for it in full. The ticket price comes out of your proceeds, WrestleLink returns its service fee, and you bear the payment processing cost of the sale and of the refund.
- Rescheduled event. When your event is rescheduled and a purchaser is entitled to and asks for a refund under the Ticket Terms, the same treatment applies: the price from your proceeds, the service fee returned by WrestleLink, the processing cost borne by you.
- Refunds within your refund policy, refused admission at your discretion, and Promotion or event error. The price comes out of your proceeds, WrestleLink returns its service fee, and you bear the processing cost.
- Goodwill, WrestleLink platform error and administrative error. WrestleLink bears the refund; your proceeds for the ticket are not reduced, except for a duplicate charge, where the duplicate amount is returned from wherever it was allocated.
- Fraud and lost payment disputes. Section 13 applies.
Where a refund leaves a negative amount for a sale — for example the processing cost of a ticket you have already been paid for — Section 15 applies. Refunds are never made after a ticket has been used for admission.
12. Cancelling, Rescheduling and Changing an Event
Cancelling. If you cancel an event, you must cancel it on WrestleLink promptly, before the event date. Cancelling on WrestleLink refunds every paid ticket for the event under Section 11 and tells purchasers. A cancelled event's proceeds are never paid out. A cancellation is treated as a cancellation whatever its cause, including weather, venue loss, illness, regulatory action or other events outside your control: the purchaser receives the cancellation refund, and you bear the costs allocated to you under these Seller Terms.
Rescheduling. If you move an event to a different date, you must update the event on WrestleLink promptly. Tickets stay valid for the rescheduled event; WrestleLink tells purchasers; and, under the WrestleLink Standard policy, purchasers may ask for a refund within the window stated in the Ticket Terms. A relocation of the event to a different venue is treated as a reschedule where it is material under the Ticket Terms; you must update the venue on WrestleLink promptly when it changes.
Other changes. Changes to the card, talent, match lineup, advertised appearances, start time or programming do not by themselves entitle purchasers to a refund, unless you or WrestleLink say otherwise for the event or applicable law requires it. You must not advertise talent, matches or appearances you do not reasonably expect to present.
13. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
When a purchaser opens a payment dispute or chargeback on a ticket order, WrestleLink responds to it with the records of the order, acceptance, payment, tickets and admission, and may ask you for information. The proceeds of the disputed sale are held while the dispute is open.
Where a dispute is lost, or a payment is found to be fraudulent, the loss — the refunded amount and any dispute fee charged by the card network or the payment processor — is borne as follows: a loss attributable to the event or the Promotion (for example an event that was not held or not as described, refused admission, an oversale, or a door sale you handled) is yours; a loss attributable to WrestleLink, its platform or the payment system is WrestleLink's. WrestleLink determines the allocation based on the transaction records and the available evidence, subject to applicable law, and tells you the outcome. Section 15 applies to any amount you bear.
14. Payouts
Through Stripe. Your proceeds are paid through Stripe Connect to a Stripe account connected to the Promotion. You must give Stripe accurate information and keep it current. WrestleLink never sees your bank details. Your payout readiness comes from Stripe: tickets to your events can go on sale only while your payout account is ready, and if it stops being ready, amounts that would otherwise be paid are held until it is ready again.
When proceeds are paid. The proceeds of a ticket become eligible for payout only after the event has ended and a further period has passed, currently 7 days after the event's end, and only while the ticket remains valid, the event was not cancelled, and no refund or payment dispute is open on it. Eligible proceeds are paid according to WrestleLink's current payout schedule. Proceeds are never paid before the event.
Holds. WrestleLink may delay or hold a payout, in whole or in part, where reasonably necessary — for example while a refund, dispute or chargeback is open, while an amount is owed to WrestleLink, while your payout account is not ready, where WrestleLink reasonably suspects fraud or risk, where the Promotion's ticketing is suspended, or where law or a payment provider requires it. WrestleLink may also require a reserve against expected refunds, disputes or amounts owed where it reasonably considers the risk warrants it, and will tell you when it does.
Never twice, never negative. A sale is never paid twice, and a sale with a negative balance is never paid out. Proceeds remain associated with the payout relationship under which they were earned; a later change of who owns or manages the Promotion, or of its payout account, does not automatically move earlier proceeds.
15. Offsets, Recovery and Reversal
Where an amount is owed by the Promotion under these Seller Terms — for example a refund, dispute or chargeback loss allocated to you, a processing cost on a refunded ticket already paid to you, service fees on cash sales, a negative balance, or any other amount owed — WrestleLink may, where reasonably necessary and subject to applicable law:
- delay, hold or reserve amounts otherwise payable to the Promotion;
- offset or deduct the amount from amounts otherwise payable to the Promotion;
- reverse a payout already made, in whole or in part, through the payment provider; and
- recover the amount from the Promotion by other lawful means.
Recovery is not limited to the amounts currently payable to the Promotion. Where an amount cannot be offset or reversed, it becomes an amount owed by the Promotion to WrestleLink, payable on demand, and WrestleLink will tell you the amount and why it is owed. Not every remedy in this Section is applied automatically; WrestleLink tells you before or when it applies one.
16. Customer Data
Purchasers' information belongs to the purchaser, and WrestleLink handles it under the Privacy Policy. For each of your events WrestleLink gives the Promotion the information reasonably necessary to run the event and admit ticket holders — such as purchasers' names and contact details, the tickets in each order, any attendee names given, and admission records. You receive information only about your own events, orders and customers, never about purchasers' other activity on WrestleLink or about other promotions' customers.
You may use that information to run the event, admit ticket holders, provide customer service for the order, meet your legal obligations, and — only with the purchaser's separate marketing consent, recorded as WrestleLink provides — to send marketing. You are independently responsible for the information you receive and for complying with the privacy, marketing and data-protection laws that apply to your use of it. When your ticketing access ends, you keep the information you lawfully received, under those obligations, but you have no further access through WrestleLink and no right to any other WrestleLink data; any export WrestleLink provides is limited to information about your own commerce relationships that you are entitled to receive, subject to law and the Privacy Policy.
17. Our Messages
WrestleLink sends the Promotion's managers messages about ticketing, in their accounts and by email: sales, refunds, disputes, cancellations and reschedules, payout readiness, payouts, statements and amounts owed, and changes to these Seller Terms or the service fee. These messages are part of the service and are not marketing.
18. Taxes
You are responsible for the taxes attributable to your events and your proceeds, including any admission, amusement, sales or similar taxes on tickets to your events, except for amounts that WrestleLink actually calculates, collects and remits on your behalf. WrestleLink may calculate, collect, withhold and remit taxes on ticket sales where it determines that it is required or authorized to do so, and will show any tax it collects to the purchaser at checkout. WrestleLink and Stripe may collect tax information from you and may issue or file tax forms or reports where required by law. Prices you set are treated as before tax unless WrestleLink's settings for the event provide otherwise.
19. Prohibited Activity
You must not:
- sell, or allow the sale of, admission you cannot honor, or misrepresent an event, its venue, its talent or its rules;
- use WrestleLink's ticketing to collect payment for anything other than admission to your event, or move a WrestleLink ticket transaction off WrestleLink;
- issue, present or accept codes in a way that admits more people than the tickets sold or issued, or alter or duplicate codes;
- use purchaser information for anything Section 16 does not allow;
- collect a payment method surcharge from purchasers, or describe WrestleLink's service fee as one;
- sell tickets through WrestleLink in breach of any law, licence, venue agreement or athletic-commission requirement; or
- do anything the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines prohibit.
20. Suspension, Stopping and Ending
Stopping future sales. You may stop selling further tickets to an event through WrestleLink at any time. Tickets already sold remain valid, and your obligations for them — admission, refunds, cancellation and reschedule handling, and settlement — continue.
Suspension by WrestleLink. WrestleLink may suspend the Promotion's ticketing, stop sales for an event, or withdraw native ticketing from the Promotion where it reasonably believes there is a risk that warrants it — for example suspected fraud, an unusual level of refunds or disputes, an event that is not being held as advertised, amounts owed and unpaid, a legal or regulatory issue, a payout account that is not ready, or a breach of these Seller Terms, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines. WrestleLink tells you when it does and, where it reasonably can, why. WrestleLink may hold proceeds under Section 14 while a suspension is in place.
Ending. You may stop using WrestleLink ticketing at any time, and WrestleLink may end this agreement on notice. Ending does not affect tickets already sold: your obligations to purchasers for them, WrestleLink's administration of refunds and disputes for them, any amounts owed to WrestleLink, and Sections 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 21 survive.
21. Relationship, Liability, Disputes and Governing Law
You sell admission to your events as an independent organizer. You are not WrestleLink's employee, agent, partner or joint venturer, and WrestleLink is not your agent except to the limited extent of collecting payment and administering refunds and disputes as these Seller Terms describe. You are responsible for your event, your venue, your staff, your performers and your compliance with the law, and you will indemnify WrestleLink as the Terms of Use provide for claims arising from them.
The Terms of Use govern disclaimers, the limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution (including arbitration and the class-action waiver, and how to opt out of arbitration), and governing law. Those provisions apply to ticketing and to these Seller Terms. Nothing in these Seller Terms limits or excludes any right or obligation under applicable law that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement, including any obligation you or WrestleLink has to purchasers under consumer-protection or ticketing law.
22. Changes
We may publish new versions of the Seller Terms. A new version applies to events that go on sale after it takes effect and, where it requires acceptance, must be accepted for the Promotion before your next event goes on sale. Events already on sale continue under the version accepted for them unless the new version or applicable law says otherwise. A change to the service fee or to your proceeds is made on notice under Section 9 and never applies to a ticket sold before it takes effect.
23. Contact
