Business Promo License
Version 1 · in force since 2026-09-14
1. About This License
This Business Promo License (the "Business License") sets out how a business may use a Business Promo delivered through WrestleLink. WrestleLink is operated by Rocket Small Business Services, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("Rocket," "we," "us," or "our").
The Business License applies together with the Promo Terms, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If the Business License conflicts with the Promo Terms about how a delivered Business Promo may be used, the Business License controls. Capitalized words not defined here have the meaning given in the Promo Terms or the Terms of Use.
The version of the Business License accepted when the request was sent stays with that order.
2. Who Holds the License
The license is granted to the business named in the Business Promo request (the "Business"). The person who orders the Business Promo confirms that they have authority to bind the Business to the Business License, and that the Business agrees to it.
3. What the Business Receives
When the wrestler delivers the Business Promo and the order has been charged, WrestleLink, with the authorization the wrestler gives WrestleLink under the Promo Seller Terms, grants the Business a non-exclusive, worldwide and perpetual license, subject to Section 7, to use that delivered Business Promo as this Business License allows.
"Worldwide" describes where the Business may use the Promo. It does not mean that wrestlers, sellers or payouts are available in every country; seller eligibility is separate.
The Business receives a license to use the delivered recording. It does not receive ownership of the Promo, or of the wrestler's name, likeness, voice, character, performance or trademarks.
4. What the Business May Do
The Business may use the delivered Business Promo:
- on the Business's own website;
- in organic (unpaid) posts on the Business's own social media accounts;
- at the Business's own physical venue, and at events the Business operates;
- in the Business's internal staff meetings and internal channels;
- in the Business's presentations to its customers and prospective customers, including sales presentations; and
- at trade shows and conferences, where the Business is using the Promo for itself.
The Business may keep, download and store the Business Promo, and may share it with a share link, for these uses.
The intended use in the request. The intended use described in the request helps the wrestler prepare the Promo. It does not limit the Business License: the Business may use the Promo for any use this Business License allows.
Ordinary edits. The Business may make ordinary edits, such as:
- trimming;
- adding captions or subtitles;
- cropping or resizing;
- converting the format;
- adding the Business's logo or a frame around the Promo; and
- including the Promo within a larger organic Business video.
Agencies and contractors. The Business may allow an agency or contractor to handle, edit or publish the Business Promo solely on the Business's behalf. The agency or contractor receives no license of its own, may exercise only the rights the Business itself has, and may not use the Promo for itself or for anyone else. The Business is responsible for its agencies and contractors.
5. What the Business May Not Do
The Business may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
- use the Business Promo in paid advertising or paid media of any kind, including boosted or sponsored posts, paid social media, television, radio or streaming advertisements, paid print or outdoor media, and paid placements. WrestleLink may offer a separate paid-media license in the future; until WrestleLink offers one in writing, paid use is not allowed;
- use it on or in merchandise, which requires a separate license that WrestleLink does not currently offer;
- resell, rent or redistribute the Business Promo as a standalone asset, or offer it for money in any form;
- sublicense it, or grant rights in it to anyone, including customers, clients, partners, sponsors or affiliates. An agency or contractor acting solely for the Business under Section 4 is not a sublicensee;
- use it on channels, websites or accounts that belong to anyone other than the Business;
- present it as the wrestler's or WrestleLink's broader endorsement or sponsorship of the Business, its products or services, or anything else, beyond the words of the Promo itself, or suggest an ongoing relationship with the wrestler that does not exist;
- edit it in a way that changes its meaning, fabricates words, misrepresents the wrestler or implies an endorsement the wrestler did not make;
- use it, or the wrestler's voice, likeness or performance in it, to train, fine-tune or test any artificial intelligence or machine-learning system, or to create any AI-derived work, synthetic voice, likeness clone, deepfake or other imitation or impersonation of the wrestler; or
- use it in a way that breaks the law, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines.
6. What the Wrestler and WrestleLink Keep
The wrestler keeps all of their rights in their name, ring name, likeness, voice, character, performance and trademarks. WrestleLink keeps all of its rights in the WrestleLink platform and its marks. Nothing in the Business License transfers any of those rights to the Business.
7. When the License Ends
WrestleLink does not end the Business License at will. WrestleLink may end it if the Business materially breaches it. Where a breach can reasonably be fixed, WrestleLink may first tell the Business and give it a reasonable opportunity to fix it. WrestleLink may end the Business License immediately for serious misuse, such as reselling the Promo, using it in paid media, using it to train artificial intelligence or to clone the wrestler's voice or likeness, or deceptively manipulating it.
A refund does not by itself end the Business License. Where a refund or other resolution of the order specifically requires that the Promo be withdrawn or no longer used, WrestleLink may end the Business License.
When the Business License ends, the Business must stop using the Business Promo and remove it from the channels the Business controls.
8. General
The Promo Terms and the Terms of Use govern everything this Business License does not, including disclaimers, the limitation of liability, dispute resolution and governing law.
We may publish new versions of the Business License. A new version applies to Business Promos ordered after it takes effect; the version accepted for an existing order stays with that order.
