Promo Seller Terms
Version 1 · in force since 2026-09-14
1. About These Promo Seller Terms
These Promo Seller Terms (the "Seller Terms") govern selling Promos on WrestleLink. WrestleLink is operated by Rocket Small Business Services, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("Rocket," "we," "us," or "our"). "You" means the wrestler whose Promos are sold, and the owner or admin of that wrestler's profile who accepts these Seller Terms on the wrestler's behalf.
The Seller Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. For Promos, they are the separate written agreement the Terms of Use refer to. If the Seller Terms conflict with the Terms of Use on a matter specific to selling Promos, the Seller Terms control for that matter. Capitalized words not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use or the Promo Terms.
When the Seller Terms are accepted, the version accepted, the time, and the account that accepted it are recorded. Your Promos can be bought only while the version in force has been accepted for your profile. When we publish a new version, it must be accepted before your Promos can be bought again.
2. Who May Sell Promos
A wrestler's Promos can be bought only while all of the following are true:
- the wrestler's profile is published on WrestleLink;
- the profile has at least one active manager who has accepted their role;
- the profile is verified;
- the version of these Seller Terms in force has been accepted for the profile;
- payouts are Ready (Section 4);
- Promo selling has been activated for the profile, with at least one complete, enabled product; and
- Promo selling is not paused or suspended (Sections 6 and 12).
Age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. WrestleLink does not currently support Promo sellers who are minors.
Who may accept. Only an owner or an authorized admin of the wrestler's profile may accept these Seller Terms on the wrestler's behalf. By accepting, they confirm that they are the wrestler, or that they are authorized to act for the wrestler and to bind the wrestler to these Seller Terms. An editor of the profile may not accept the Seller Terms; editors may carry out only the Promo tasks WrestleLink's product allows them.
3. Verification
A profile becomes verified when WrestleLink approves a claim to it or otherwise verifies the person or people behind it, as described on WrestleLink's claims and verification pages. You may set up draft Promo products before your profile is verified, but you cannot activate Promo selling until it is. WrestleLink may withdraw or require renewed verification if it has reason to doubt it; while the profile is not verified, its Promos cannot be bought.
4. Payouts Through Stripe
Stripe Express. Your share of Promo sales is paid through Stripe Connect to a Stripe Express account connected to your profile. Setting up and continuing payout setup is done by an owner or admin of the profile. Stripe's onboarding collects your identity, tax and bank details directly; WrestleLink never sees your bank details. Your Stripe account is also governed by Stripe's own agreement for connected accounts, which you accept with Stripe.
Accurate information. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you give Stripe, and for keeping it up to date. If Stripe needs more information, WrestleLink will tell you, but only Stripe can confirm your account.
Payout readiness. Your payout state comes from Stripe. Your Promos can be bought only while it is Ready. If it stops being Ready, new requests cannot be made, and money that would otherwise be ready to pay is held until it is Ready again.
Countries. Seller and payout availability may vary by country and is subject to the countries WrestleLink and its payment providers support. Payouts are currently available only to supported U.S. Stripe accounts.
5. Your Promo Products
Product types. WrestleLink offers Fan Video, Fan Voice, Business Video and Business Voice Promos. WrestleLink decides which types are on sale. A new product starts switched off; you choose which products to offer.
Price. You set the price of each product, at or above the platform minimum shown in your Promo setup. WrestleLink may change the platform minimum; a change applies to requests made after it takes effect.
What each product must say. Before a product can go live it needs a description. You also choose the styles you offer (Face, Heel, Neutral and Other), the delivery window (from the options WrestleLink allows), and the questions purchasers answer, within the limits your setup shows. Everything you publish about a product must be accurate, and you must be able to deliver what it describes.
Length. Each Promo must be no longer than the maximum length for its type shown in setup. A shorter Promo is allowed.
6. Capacity and Availability
Capacity. You can limit how many Promo requests can be open at once, for your profile and for each product. When a limit is reached, new requests are refused until a place frees up. A request waiting for your answer holds a place.
Pausing. You can pause all of your Promos or one product, until you resume or until a date you choose, when it reopens automatically. Use a dated pause for any period you will be unavailable. While paused, purchasers cannot send new requests. Pausing does not close requests already waiting for your answer, and it does not change the deadlines of Promos you have accepted: you must still answer and deliver them.
7. Requests, Acceptance and Declining
Acceptance deadline. Each request shows the deadline by which you must accept or decline it. We remind you before it passes.
Accepting creates an obligation. When you accept a request, the purchaser is charged and you are committed to delivering the Promo by its delivery deadline. An accepted Promo is a fulfillment obligation. Accept only requests you can deliver on time and within these Seller Terms.
Declining. You may decline any request, for any reason. You choose a reason when you decline; the purchaser is told only that you were unable to take the request. You should decline any request that breaks the content rules in Section 9. Declining a request, or letting it pass its acceptance deadline without answering, is never a strike. The purchaser is not charged, and it may be reflected in your response statistics.
8. Deadlines and Delivery
Delivery deadline. An accepted Promo must be delivered by its delivery deadline: the delivery window offered for the product when the request was made, counted from acceptance. After the deadline there is a short grace period; after the grace period ends you can no longer deliver.
Business days. Acceptance and delivery windows are counted in business days: Monday through Friday, based on U.S. Eastern time. Each person sees deadlines in their own local time. The rules saved with a request apply to that Promo's deadlines; the deadlines shown on the request are the authoritative ones.
Delivering. You deliver a take you have recorded or uploaded and checked. WrestleLink asks you to play the take through before delivering it. Deliver only a take that fulfils the request.
9. Performance and Content Rules
Your persona. Perform consistently with the identity, character and presentation you use on WrestleLink. WrestleLink encourages you to maintain your persona in every Promo.
Styles. Perform in the style the purchaser chose from the styles you offer. Face and Heel are the hero and villain directions. Neutral means a straightforward performance without a specific Face or Heel direction; you still perform consistently with the identity, character and presentation you use on WrestleLink. Other is a style the purchaser describes. Keep to the request.
Keep the transaction on WrestleLink. Do not use a Promo to ask for payment for that Promo outside WrestleLink, or to move or replace the Promo transaction off WrestleLink. Do not discuss the order, its price, its payment or WrestleLink's platform mechanics in the Promo. You may mention your ordinary public social media, your website, your upcoming shows and your other ordinary public contact information.
Content rules. A Promo, and anything you publish about your products, must follow the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines. A Promo must not:
- be unlawful, or encourage anything unlawful;
- threaten, harass, bully or target a real person, beyond good-natured in-character performance the recipient would reasonably expect;
- contain hate speech or promote violence;
- be sexual in nature, or involve a minor in any inappropriate way;
- endorse a product, service, cause, candidate or business, or make claims about a product or service, beyond what the product ordered permits;
- include anyone else's private information; or
- include material you do not have the right to use, such as someone else's music or footage.
A Heel or roast Promo may be cutting or insulting in character; that is performance. It must still follow these rules.
10. Problem Reports and Another Take
After delivery, the purchaser may report a problem during the problem-report window shown on the order. While a report is open, your share for that Promo is held.
WrestleLink reviews each report and may:
- ask you for another take, with new deadlines counted from WrestleLink's decision. A request for another take is not a strike;
- refund the purchaser; or
- take no action.
If you do not deliver the new take by its new delivery deadline and grace period, the purchaser is refunded and a strike is recorded under Section 11.
11. Missed Deliveries and Strikes
Refund and strike. If you accepted a Promo and it is not delivered by its delivery deadline and grace period, the purchaser is refunded in full automatically, and one fulfillment strike is recorded against the wrestler.
One strike per Promo. A Promo (one order line) can produce at most one fulfillment strike. That includes a Promo missed after a request for another take: a missed redelivery can still produce that Promo's one fulfillment strike.
What is never a strike. Declining a request, letting a request pass its acceptance deadline, a purchaser cancelling before acceptance, a payment that fails at acceptance, and a request for another take are never strikes.
The Standing page. Your Promo Standing page shows your current strikes, how many strikes pause selling, the period they count over, and when each strike stops counting. The threshold and period in force when a strike is counted are the ones that apply. Strikes stay with the wrestler if the profile's ownership changes.
12. Pausing Selling for Strikes, Suspension and Restoration
Reaching the threshold. When the wrestler reaches the strike threshold, Promo selling is paused. Requests still waiting for an answer are closed without charge, and no new requests can be sent. Promos you have already accepted must still be delivered by their deadlines.
Other breaches. WrestleLink may also pause or suspend Promo selling, or disable products, if we reasonably believe the Seller Terms, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines have been broken, including by failing to fulfil accepted Promos.
Restoration. Only WrestleLink can restore Promo selling. Contact WrestleLink support to talk about restoring it. Restoration resets the relevant strikes for the purpose of the suspension threshold, but WrestleLink may keep its historical records of those strikes.
13. Money: Your Share of Each Sale
WrestleLink sells the Promo. The purchaser pays WrestleLink. WrestleLink takes the payment, handles refunds and payment disputes, and pays you your share.
Your share. For each Promo sold, your share is the Promo price, before any tax, minus:
- WrestleLink's commission, currently 20% of the Promo price before tax; and
- the payment processing fee Stripe charges for the sale, which you bear under the current model and which is calculated on the full amount processed, including any tax.
If the processing fee is first estimated, your share is adjusted to the actual fee when Stripe reports it.
Example (for illustration only). On a $25.00 Promo with no tax, WrestleLink's commission is $5.00. If Stripe's processing fee for the sale is $1.03, your share is $18.97. Actual fees depend on Stripe.
Affiliates. Any affiliate or referral share is paid from WrestleLink's commission, never from your share.
Changes to your economics. If WrestleLink changes the commission or other fees that affect your share, WrestleLink will give you advance notice, in your account or by email, before the change applies. Where appropriate, WrestleLink may ask you to accept revised Seller Terms or fee terms before your Promos can continue to be bought. A change never applies to a sale made before it takes effect.
14. Refunds and Your Share
If a Promo is refunded, your share of that sale is removed. Who bears the payment processing cost of the refunded sale depends on why it was refunded:
- where the refund results from you, for example a missed delivery, an unusable delivery, a wrong recipient caused by you, or a breach of these Seller Terms, you may bear the processing cost, which can leave an amount owed to WrestleLink for that sale;
- where WrestleLink refunds as goodwill, or because of a WrestleLink platform or administrative error, WrestleLink bears the processing cost, and for a goodwill refund you keep your share; and
- fraudulent payments and payment disputes are handled under the applicable rules and the circumstances of the case.
A request that is declined, expires, is cancelled by the purchaser before acceptance, or fails at payment is never charged, so there is nothing to refund and no processing cost to you.
15. When Your Share Is Paid
Held, then released. Your share of a Promo is held until the Promo has been delivered and its problem-report window has closed. It is held longer while a problem report is open, a refund is pending, or a payment dispute is open. When nothing is open, it becomes eligible for payout.
Transfers. Eligible proceeds are transferred according to WrestleLink's current payout schedule. Timing may be delayed by payment processing, disputes, payout-account status, technical issues or review. Stripe then pays the connected balance to your bank according to Stripe's own schedule. A share is never paid twice, and a sale with a negative balance is never paid out.
16. Your Payout Relationship
Seller proceeds remain associated with the verified payout relationship under which they were earned. A later ownership or payout-account change does not automatically transfer earlier proceeds to a new person or payout account. When a payout relationship ends, requests still waiting for an answer are closed without charge, and payout setup must be completed again before Promos can be bought again.
17. Refunds and Disputes After Your Share Is Paid
If a Promo is refunded or a payment dispute is lost after your share has been transferred, WrestleLink may reverse the transfer from your Stripe account to recover your share of that sale. If the reversal cannot be completed, the unrecovered amount becomes an amount you owe to WrestleLink, and we will tell you.
WrestleLink records how each amount owed is resolved:
- recovered, when it is repaid;
- written off, when WrestleLink decides not to pursue it; or
- offset approved, when WrestleLink approves recovering it from a future payout.
"Offset approved" does not itself mean that any amount has been deducted from your future earnings; the amount remains owed until it is actually recovered. No automatic deduction from future earnings exists today.
18. Rights in Your Promos
What you grant. You grant WrestleLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, deliver and play each Promo you deliver, to let the purchaser play and download it, and to support authorized sharing, for as long as necessary to do those things under the purchaser's valid Fan Promo License or Business Promo License. You also authorize WrestleLink to license each delivered Promo to its purchaser under the license the purchaser accepted, for as long as that license lasts. You consent to your name, ring name, likeness, voice and performance being used in these ways.
What you keep. You keep your rights in your name, ring name, likeness, voice, character, performance and trademarks, except for the licenses you grant here.
Your promises. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant these licenses, and that a Promo you deliver does not include material you do not have the right to use.
No AI training. Nothing in the Seller Terms gives WrestleLink the right to use a wrestler's Promo recording, voice, likeness or performance to train or fine-tune an artificial-intelligence model unless the wrestler separately and expressly agrees. Accepting these Seller Terms is not that agreement.
19. Public Samples
A delivered Promo is used as a public sample only if the purchaser (the customer), you and WrestleLink each agree. Consent may be withdrawn through an available WrestleLink process or by contacting WrestleLink, after which WrestleLink will stop using the Promo as a public sample.
20. Review and Moderation
Authorized WrestleLink personnel may review Promo media, including an undelivered take, when reasonably necessary for support, quality, dispute, refund, redelivery, safety, moderation or administrative review. Access is limited by role and recorded.
21. Your Relationship With WrestleLink, and Taxes
Independent. You sell Promos as an independent performer. You are not WrestleLink's employee, agent or partner, and nothing in the Seller Terms creates that relationship. You decide whether to accept a request and how to perform it, within these Seller Terms. You cannot bind WrestleLink.
Your taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings. WrestleLink and/or Stripe may collect tax information and issue or file tax forms or reports when required by applicable law.
22. Our Messages
We send you messages, in your account and by email, about Promo requests, reminders before deadlines, missed deliveries, refunds, strikes, restoration, payout readiness and amounts owed. These messages are part of the service and are not marketing.
23. Stopping and Ending
You may stop selling at any time by pausing your Promos or switching your products off. Promos you have already accepted must still be delivered.
WrestleLink may end your ability to sell Promos if the Seller Terms, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines are broken. The licenses you granted for Promos already delivered, and any amount owed to WrestleLink, survive when selling ends.
24. Liability, Disputes and Governing Law
The Terms of Use govern disclaimers, the limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution (including arbitration and the class-action waiver, and how to opt out of arbitration), and governing law. Those provisions apply to these Seller Terms.
25. Changes
We may publish new versions of the Seller Terms. A new version must be accepted before your Promos can be bought again. Changes to Promo rules, such as deadlines, windows or the platform minimum, apply to requests made after they take effect; a Promo already requested keeps the rules saved with it, except that strikes are counted under the threshold and period in force when they are counted. Changes to the commission or fees follow Section 13.
