Promo Terms
Version 1 · in force since 2026-09-14
1. About These Promo Terms
These Promo Terms (the "Promo Terms") govern ordering a WrestleLink Promo. WrestleLink is operated by Rocket Small Business Services, LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("Rocket," "we," "us," or "our").
The Promo Terms apply in addition to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Each order also comes with one Promo license, chosen by the product you order:
- the Fan Promo License, for a Fan Promo; or
- the Business Promo License, for a Business Promo.
If the Promo Terms conflict with the Terms of Use on a matter specific to Promos, the Promo Terms control for that matter. If the Promo Terms conflict with your Promo license about how you may use a delivered Promo, the license controls. Capitalized words not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
When you send a request, the versions of the Promo Terms and of your Promo license that you accepted, the time you accepted them, and the account that accepted them are recorded against that order. The versions you accepted stay with that order even if we publish new versions later.
2. What a Promo Is
A Promo is a short, personalized recording performed by a wrestler listed on WrestleLink and delivered to you through WrestleLink. A Promo is entertainment. It is made for you, based on the request you submit.
Fan and Business Promos. A Fan Promo is for personal, non-commercial use under the Fan Promo License. A Business Promo is for use by a business under the Business Promo License. A Business request asks for the business's name, how the business intends to use the Promo, and optionally its website.
Video and Voice Promos. A Video Promo is a video recording. A Voice Promo is an audio recording. Each product shows its maximum length. A wrestler may deliver a Promo shorter than the maximum.
Style. Where a wrestler offers them, you may ask for a style: Face (the hero), Heel (the villain), Neutral (a straightforward style without a specific Face or Heel direction), or Other (a style you describe). In every style, the wrestler performs as the identity and persona they use on WrestleLink; Neutral does not mean breaking character. A Heel or roast Promo may be cutting or insulting in character. That is performance, as the Community Guidelines describe, and it is not a statement of the wrestler's or WrestleLink's real views.
Which products, styles and prices are available is set by each wrestler, within limits WrestleLink sets. What is shown on the wrestler's Promo page and at checkout when you order is the authoritative description of what you are ordering. The rules saved with your order (such as its deadlines and windows) are the ones that apply to it.
3. Who May Order
To order a Promo you must have a WrestleLink account, be signed in, and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). You must also be authorized to use the payment method you provide. By sending a request, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
If you order a Business Promo, you confirm that you are authorized to order it for the business you name.
4. Your Request
You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter in your request, including names, spellings, pronunciations, relationships, occasions and any business details. A wrestler performs from what you write. If the wrestler accurately follows the information you submitted, an error in your request generally is not considered a problem with the Promo.
Your request cannot be changed once payment begins.
Recipient delivery. You may name someone else as the recipient and, where the order form offers it, give a separate email address for them. If you do, WrestleLink may send the delivered Promo to that address after it has been delivered to you. You remain the customer and the account holder for the order. The recipient receives the delivered Promo only:
- WrestleLink sends the recipient nothing before delivery: no request confirmation, acceptance, progress, payment or order-management messages;
- WrestleLink never sends the recipient a text message;
- the recipient's email does not include your order or payment details; and
- the wrestler never sees the recipient's email address.
The link in the recipient's email lets them play the Promo without a WrestleLink account, and anyone they forward it to can play it too. Give a recipient's email address only if you are entitled to share it with us for this purpose.
Content rules. Your request must follow the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines. You may not request a Promo that:
- is unlawful, or asks the wrestler to do or say something unlawful;
- threatens, harasses, bullies or targets a real person, beyond good-natured in-character performance the recipient would reasonably expect;
- contains hate speech or promotes violence against anyone;
- is sexual in nature, or involves or is directed at a minor in any inappropriate way;
- asks the wrestler to endorse a product, service, cause, candidate or business in a way the product you ordered does not permit, or to make claims about a product or service;
- asks the wrestler to impersonate someone else, or to state that you, the wrestler or WrestleLink have a relationship that does not exist;
- includes another person's private information (such as an address, phone number or financial details); or
- asks the wrestler to discuss the order, its price or payment, or WrestleLink's platform, other than what the Promo itself requires.
A wrestler may decline any request, for any reason or no reason. WrestleLink may also refuse or close a request under Section 17.
5. No Guarantee of Acceptance
Sending a request does not create a Promo order that anyone must fulfil. A request becomes a Promo the wrestler must deliver only when the wrestler accepts it. We do not guarantee that a wrestler will accept any request. If a wrestler declines, we tell you that they were unable to take it; we do not share their reason.
6. Price, Payment and When You Are Charged
Price. Each wrestler sets the price of their Promos. The price shown at checkout is the price of the Promo. WrestleLink does not add a separate service fee. Where checkout shows tax, the total you are charged includes it.
Payment. Promos are paid by card, including card wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where offered. Payment is processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full card details.
When you send your request. When you send your request, we ask your card issuer to authorize the total. This is not a charge. Your bank may show it as pending.
When the wrestler accepts. You are charged only if and when the wrestler accepts your request. If your card cannot be charged at that moment, the request closes and nothing is taken.
When you are not charged. Nothing is taken from your card, and the authorization is released, if:
- the wrestler declines your request;
- the wrestler does not accept by the acceptance deadline on your order;
- you cancel your request before the wrestler accepts it;
- the request is closed before acceptance for another reason, for example because the wrestler becomes unavailable or can no longer sell Promos; or
- your card cannot be charged when the wrestler accepts.
How quickly a released authorization disappears from your statement depends on your card issuer.
Unfinished checkouts. If you start a request but do not complete payment, the unfinished checkout expires after a limited time and must be started again.
Your order has a WrestleLink order number beginning "WL-". Use it whenever you contact us about the order.
7. Deadlines
Every Promo order has two deadlines, both shown on your order:
- the acceptance deadline, by which the wrestler must accept or decline; and
- the delivery deadline, by which an accepted Promo must be delivered. The delivery window is the one offered for the product when you ordered, counted from acceptance.
Deadlines are counted in business days. A business day is Monday through Friday, based on U.S. Eastern time. Deadlines are shown to you in your own local time. After the delivery deadline there is a short grace period before an undelivered Promo is treated as not delivered.
The deadline and window rules saved with your order apply to that order, even if WrestleLink changes its rules later. The deadlines shown on your order are the authoritative ones.
8. Cancelling
You may cancel your request at any time before the wrestler accepts it, from your order. Nothing is charged.
Once the wrestler has accepted your request you have been charged, and the request cannot be cancelled. Your remaining remedies are the ones in Sections 10 and 11.
9. Delivery, Downloads and Share Links
When the wrestler delivers your Promo, we tell you in your account and by email. You can play the delivered Promo and download it from your order.
Share links. From your order you can create a share link that lets someone watch or listen to the Promo without a WrestleLink account. Anyone who has the link can play the Promo, so treat it like a password: share it only with people you want to see the Promo. A share link plays the Promo; it does not offer a download. Each Promo has one live share link at a time. Creating a new link turns off the old one, you can turn a link off at any time, and links expire automatically. A share link never makes your Promo a public sample.
Sharing a Promo, by link or otherwise, is allowed only as far as your Promo license allows.
10. Problems With a Delivered Promo
If something is wrong with a delivered Promo, report it from your order before the problem-report window shown on your order closes. The window begins when the Promo is delivered.
When you report a problem you choose what is wrong: it is not what you asked for; the name or recipient is wrong; you cannot see or hear it properly; it will not play or download; or something else. Only one report per Promo can be open at a time.
WrestleLink reviews each report. Depending on what we find, we may:
- ask the wrestler for another take, with new deadlines counted from our decision. If the wrestler does not deliver the new take by its new delivery deadline and grace period, you are refunded under Section 11;
- refund you under Section 11; or
- take no action, where we find the Promo was delivered as requested. The time the report was open is added back to your problem-report window.
After the problem-report window closes, the Promo is final. We may still act in exceptional cases, and nothing in these Promo Terms limits a right you have under applicable law.
11. Refunds
You receive a full refund of the amount charged for the order, including tax actually collected where required, if:
- the wrestler accepted your request but did not deliver the Promo by the delivery deadline and grace period on your order (this happens automatically); or
- WrestleLink resolves a problem report with a refund.
WrestleLink may also refund an order in other cases at its discretion, for example a platform or administrative error or a duplicate charge.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. How long a refund takes to appear depends on your card issuer; it is often 5 to 10 business days.
If you were never charged (Section 6), there is nothing to refund: the authorization is simply released.
12. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you think a Promo charge is wrong, please contact us first with your WL- order number, so we can try to fix it quickly. This does not limit any right you have to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may hold the order while it is resolved, and we may give the card network the records of your order, request, acceptance and delivery.
13. WrestleLink's Role and the Wrestler's Role
WrestleLink. You pay WrestleLink for your Promo. WrestleLink runs the ordering process, takes payment, keeps the deadlines, handles problem reports, refunds and payment disputes, and pays the wrestler their share.
The wrestler. The wrestler performs and records the Promo. Wrestlers on WrestleLink are independent performers. They are not WrestleLink's employees or agents, and they do not speak for WrestleLink. A Promo expresses what you asked for, as performed by the wrestler; it is not a statement of the wrestler's or WrestleLink's own views.
No endorsement. A Promo is not an endorsement of you, your business or anything you sell by the wrestler or by WrestleLink, beyond the words of the Promo itself.
14. Public Samples
A delivered Promo is used as a public sample on WrestleLink only if you (the customer), the wrestler and WrestleLink each agree to it. Consent may be withdrawn through an available WrestleLink process or by contacting WrestleLink, after which WrestleLink will stop using the Promo as a public sample. Sharing your Promo with a share link, or yourself, never makes it a public sample.
15. Your Account and Our Messages
Promo orders are placed and managed through your WrestleLink account. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity in it, as the Terms of Use describe.
We send you messages about your order, in your account and by email: when your request is sent, accepted, closed, delivered or refunded, and when a problem report is updated. These messages are part of the service you ordered, not marketing. If you gave a recipient email, the recipient receives only the delivery email described in Section 4.
16. Privacy and Promo Media
The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including your request, your order and payment records.
The wrestler sees what they need to perform your Promo, such as the request details and the names you give, but not a recipient's email address.
Delivered Promos are stored so that you can play and download them. Authorized WrestleLink personnel may access Promo media only when reasonably necessary for support, problem reports, redelivery, refunds, disputes, safety, moderation or administrative review. Access is limited by role and, where applicable, recorded.
17. Refusing and Closing Requests, and Enforcement
WrestleLink may refuse a request, or close a request before it is accepted, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Promo Terms, your Promo license, the Terms of Use or the Community Guidelines. A request closed before acceptance is never charged. WrestleLink may also take any step the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines allow when an account breaks them.
18. Liability, Disputes and Governing Law
The Terms of Use govern disclaimers, the limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution (including arbitration and the class-action waiver, and how to opt out of arbitration), and governing law. Those provisions apply to Promos and to these Promo Terms.
Nothing in these Promo Terms limits a right you have under applicable law that cannot be limited by agreement.
19. Changes
We may publish new versions of the Promo Terms. A new version applies to requests sent after it takes effect. The version you accepted for an existing order stays with that order.
